Privacy
BrandQR is built so static QR exports do not depend on our servers. Account and analytics data are handled as follows.
Accounts
If you create an account, we store your email and saved designs (payload + style settings) so you can reopen them. Authentication is provided by Supabase Auth.
Static QR codes
Downloaded PNG, SVG, and PDF files encode your own content. After export they work without BrandQR. We do not need to track scans of static codes.
Dynamic QR & scan analytics (Business)
Dynamic codes redirect through BrandQR. For each scan we may store:
- Timestamp
- Coarse country (from edge/proxy headers when available)
- Device category (mobile / desktop / tablet / bot) from User-Agent
We do not collect precise GPS location or store raw device fingerprints by default. Scan events are retained for about 90 days, then should be purged under the operator’s retention policy.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored on BrandQR servers.
